Male Atop, Holy Cross Enters Latest KSCA Poll

After winning the All ‘A’ Classic last weekend, Holy Cross’ softball team enters the May 2 Kentucky Softball Coaches Association coaches poll, sitting in at No. 21.

No. 5 Bullitt East moves up past No. 7 Ballard, but Male still leads the Louisville-area schools, ranking in at No. 4. The 2015 state champion McCracken County still heads the list.

Other Louisville-area teams that made the latest poll are No. 10 Butler, No. 14 Mercy, No. 20 Collins, and No. 23 Oldham Co.

Big local games this week: May 3 – Male at Bullitt East, 5:30pm; Oldham Co. at Mercy, 7:30pm; Holy Cross at Ballard, 7pm; May 4 – Collins at Ballard, 5:45pm;  May 5– Male at Butler, 5pm.
