The University of Louisville’s freshman forward Brooklynn Rivers has been named one of Top Drawer Soccer’s Top 100 Freshman. This is the first watch list of the season, ranking the top freshmen in the nation.
Rivers debuts at No. 31 on the list. She is one of 25 freshman listed from the ACC. She is ranked as the 12th best freshman in the Atlantic Coast Conference, at 31 overall.
The Fort Thomas, Ky. Native leads the Cardinals in scoring this season. She leads the team with 11 point from four goals and three assists. She is the team leader in goals scored, shots and shots on goal. She also leads the team with two game winning goals against Harvard and Belmont. She is the only player on the team to score multiple goals in multiple matches.
The Cardinals will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 16 as they travel to Virginia Tech for a 1:00 p.m. match.
