Sixth and Seventh Region softball draws

The road to Owensboro starts Monday morning when the Sixth and Seventh Region Tournaments start at district winners.

In the Sixth Region, No. 12 Holy Cross or No. 13 Butler would likely have to beat three ranked teams to win the regional title as the winner of their first round game will probably face No. 19 Bullitt East in the semifinals. No.16 Mercy has it setup to where they wouldn’t meet a ranked team until the regional championship game.

In the Seventh Region, No. 5 Ballard and No.6 Male are on a collision course where they wouldn’t until the title game. Rivals Assumption and Sacred Heart will square off in a first round game.
