Practice. Getting ready for regionals and this practice has a different feel to it. Right now, we don’t know who we are going to play, so it could be a couple different teams. You can’t “prepare“ for anybody, so you just do what you’ve been doing since July. We’ll know tomorrow.

Well, we didn’t get Assumption. But, we get CAL, a team that’s been playing very well in the last few weeks. A top 10 team. ANOTHER top 10 teams in a season full of top 10 teams. Nobody has played a schedule like ours.

CAL comes out with guns a blazin.

They outplay us. They out hit us. They out pass us. They out serve us. And they out coach us. We were never in the game and that’s sad. It truly wasn’t a reflection of our season. Not to go out like this. Without a real fight. And, so it ends. Just like that, it’s wait till next year……

Coaches Thoughts

I’d like to thank everybody who has followed us in this blog. I really enjoyed involving you in our season. It can be a grind at times. For the coaches and the players. But, there’s not a better game on this planet than volleyball. I love it and hope to stay involved in it for as long as I can. Or, as long as they’ll have me. I’ve met so many great kids, so many great people through this game. I’m a better person for it.

Thanks to Louisville Women’s Sports and Conor Revell for letting me/us have this platform. Its been fun.And remember folks; GO CRIMSONS!
