Sweet 16 Preview for Manual and Mercy

The 2018 St. Elizabeth Healthcare/KHSAA Girls’ Sweet 16®State Basketball Tournament started Wednesday afternoon, but Manual and Mercy won’t play their opening round games until Thursday. All games will be play at Northern Kentucky University’s BB&T Arena in Highlands Heights.

Mercy (22-9) vs. Knott County Central (24-9), 12 p.m. (Thursday)

Knott County Central

  • Points per game: 64.8
  • Points allowed per game: 48.5
  • Top scorers: Jada Higgins (14.5), Breanna Harrington (12.0), and Kamryn Thornsberry (8.7).
