It wasn’t long ago when Wireman play a big role in helping head coach Josh Bloomer start the Male softball dynasty – she the Bulldogs to Seventh Region titles in 2013 and 14.
But, that was a while go. Now, she’s a senior at Eastern Illinois where she’s an absolute force in the circle.
Wireman sports a 7-3 record and has three saves along with a stellar 1.72 ERA.
The pitcher has struck out 84 hitters and walked 31 in 69.1 innings.
Eastern Illinois is currently 15-7. Conference play starts late next week.
