Butler’s Molly Lockhart and Manual’s Jaela Johnson will play in the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Basketball Game this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at Thomas More College in Crestview, Ky.
Lockhart averaged 12.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game and helped guided the Bearettes to a 24-5 record and an appearance in the Sixth Region semifinals. She was also a member of the state title team as a sophomore and last year’s that team that advanced to the state quarterfinals her junior year.
Johnson averaged 17.1 points per game, made 190 of 451 (42.1 percent) from the field including 57 of 193 (29.5 percent) from three-point land. She helped guided the Crimsons to a 22-9 record including their stunning upset win over Sacred Heart in the Seventh Region championship game and an appearance in the state quarterfinals.
