The Assumption, Ballard, Butler, Holy Cross, Male, Mercy, and Oldham County softball teams are ranked in this week’s Kentucky Prep Softball Top 25 Coach’s Poll.

Male is No. 4 with a 13-3 record and beat Anderson County, No. 10 Holy Cross, and No. 17 Boyle County this past week.

Ballard is No. 5 with a 15-1 record and beat Collins, Anderson County, and North Oldham this past week.

Holy Cross is No. 10 with a 19-6 record and won the All “A” Classic Statewide Softball title this past week with wins over Trimble County, Williamsburg, Hancock County, Caldwell County, Green County, and defeated Raceland 15-5 in the title game. The Cougars picked up a win over Pleasure Ridge Park and lost to No. 4 Male during the week.

Mercy is No. 11 with a 13-3 record and beat Meade County, Jeffersonville (Ind.), and Bullitt East, but lost to Collins this past week.

Oldham County is No. 13 with a 21-3 record and beat Sacred Heart, Jeffersontown, North Oldham, and Trimble County this past week.

Butler is No. 18 with a 13-6 record and beat Spencer County, Western, and Southern and lost to No. 20 South Warren and No. 16 Daviess County this past week.

Assumption is No. 21 with a 14-7 record and beat Sacred Heart and Silver Creek (Ind.) this past week.
