Indiana’s Maggie Allen has made noise on the running surface since she arrived in Bloomington three years ago, now she can say she has ran in the NCAA Track and Field championships in the 10,000 meter.
EUGENE, Ore. – Day two of the NCAA Championships featured the Championships debut of junior Maggie Allen in the 10,000m.
The Louisville, Ky. native ran a lifetime best of 33:48.94, which is the fifth fastest time in Indiana University history. She collected her career-first All-American honors (second team) when she finished 13th overall in a field of 24. Allen shred eight seconds off of her previous personal record (33:56.37) that she ran at the 2017 Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
