Where are they now: Hadiya Williams

LWSN highlights a local native that plays at the collegiate level every Monday. If you have a suggestion on a female athlete to highlight , send an email to conor.revell@gmail.com. This week’s feature is on former Male track and field star Hadiya Williams.

Williams may have only been a freshman at Tennessee State, but she’s already making noise in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Here’s a look at some of her highlights.

She ran a 60 meter hurdles time of 9.33 at the Vanderbilt Opener in first collegiate meet… Took 12th in the prelims of the 60m hurdles (9.24) at the OVC Indoor Championship… Had a 1:16.10 finish in the 400m hurdles at the APSU Invitational… Turned in a 15.41 finish in the 100m hurdles at the Georgia Tech Invitational. Williams is sure to only get better as she progresses through her career at the Nashville school.
