Guest blogger, Michael G. Moore Jr. gives his Month of May weekly entry of the “Next Up” series. Each week he will highlight a different youth basketball player from the area who will each be a name to remember in the years to come.
Players Name- Amirah Jordan
Grade going to in the Fall- 6th
School attending in fall- JCTMS
AAU Program- Nike Lady Gymrats
When a 5th grader is already being asked “Which High School are you considering?” You know you have a special talent coming into your Middle School program. She enters the Middle School scene as a top incoming 6th grader. If she plays all three years of Middle School, she could really leave her mark with a memorable career at JCTMS before moving on to High School as a Freshmen.

10) If you could only achieve one, which would it be and why? HS state title, College WBB National Title or WNBA Title
I would prefer a High School State Title because that means my team set the bar high that season with a great year and hopefully because of that success, College coaches would take notice and come to a few of our games and look at our team.
