Latest Volleyball Poll Released

In the first regular season Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll, Louisville’s own Assumption (1), Sacred Heart (2) and Mercy (3) head the list of the top 25 high school volleyball programs in the state. In total, the Louisville area had 11 schools to make the list.

Assumption is currently 4-1, having lost 2-3 to Cathedral High in Indiana. The Rockets’ last game was a 3-0 win at No. 10 St. Henry. Assumption will face Sacred Heart at home on Wednesday, 5:00pm.

Sacred Heart is also currently 4-1, having lost to Notre Dame 2-3 last week. Mercy is currently 4-2 with a 0-3 loss to Providence High in Indiana and a 1-3 loss to Sacred Heart. Next up, the Jaguars host Presentation tomorrow at 7:00pm.

Outside of the top 10, Oldham County, Christian Academy of Louisville and North Oldham came in at No. 11, 12, and 13, respectively. Holy Cross ranked in at No. 17, followed by Butler at No. 19 and Presentation at No. 20. DuPont Manual ranked in at No. 23 and Louisville Male finished the list at No. 25.
