Rachel is an Emmy-nominated journalist who joined the Hearst Bureau as a Washington Correspondent in August 2025, reporting on national politics and policy from Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining the Bureau, Rachel worked at Hearst Television’s WLWT in Cincinnati, where she led investigations into the city’s hundreds of unsolved homicides, produced behind-the-scenes coverage of police training following multiple officer-involved shootings, and cultivated sources that helped her break exclusive stories. During her time in Cincinnati, she also became a devoted Skyline Chili and Cincinnati Bengals fan. Rachel previously worked in Charlottesville, Virginia following her graduation from the University of Maryland.
Outside of the newsroom, Rachel can be found on the golf course, playing pickleball and rooting for the New York Islanders and New York Yankees.
