Copper theft continues to be a troubling trend across the state of Kentucky. A task force focused on fighting it is making progress. Mayor Craig Greenberg said recently, more than 300 feet of copper wire were stripped and stolen from a Louisville neighborhood.Watch the theft in the player above.It happened on Feb. 18 in Okolona. Greenberg started a task force last fall to track and stop the crime as these thefts are leading to 911 outages, power failures, and costing millions in repairs.From this theft, four people were arrested, thanks to LMPD 7th Division Detectives.
