The Indiana Hoosiers are national champions.IU defeated Miami in Miami 27-21 Monday night to earn the school's first ever national football title.Tuesday morning, Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti, Pat Coogan, Aiden Fisher, Defensive Player of the Game Mikail Kamara and Offensive Player of the Game Fernando Mendoza spoke at a champions news conference."It takes a village, and it takes all of us, and it takes a whole coaching staff, and it takes a whole players, just everybody to buy in and believe in a common goal, in a common purpose," Coogan said.Fisher called it "a special ride" and said they had everybody right for the job to make this season happen.Indiana is celebrating at home, too. Mendoza talked about video he saw of flooded streets."Yeah, there was videos after the game of Kirkwood and someone tried to show my teammates and myself, and you couldn't even see the street there was so many people.
