Tributes pour in for Rondale Moore following his death on Saturday. Moore was born and raised in New Albany, Indiana and was a three-sport — football, basketball, track — athlete.On Saturday, the Floyd County Coroner and New Albany Police confirmed that Moore had died in his home and said an investigation was underway.High SchoolNew Albany High School - New Albany, INMoore began his career at New Albany High School where he and the Bulldogs won a basketball state championship. Saturday evening, the New Albany Bulldogs Athletic Director, Shawn Garmon, released a statement reading, "The New Albany High School Athletic Department would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Rondale Moore who passed away today. Rondale was an inspiration to the youth of our community and we will all miss his infectious smile. We send out thoughts and prayers to the family, friends and teammates of Rondale and are truly very sorry for your loss."Trinity - Louisville, KYMoore later transferred to Trinity where he helped the Shamrocks win the 2016 Class 6A football state title. Trinity released a statement saying, "Today our Trinity family mourns the loss of Rondale Moore '18. Rondale was a wonderful young man - a relentless competitor, a humble teammate, a respected leader, and a serious student. he represented Trinity with pride in our halls, on Friday nights, at the college level, and on the professional stage. More importantly, he treated people well. Younger players looked up to him. Coaches trusted him. Teachers appreciated him. He made the building better simply by being in it. His impact here didn't end at graduation - it kept growing.
