Red Cross offering free A1C testing on all donations in March
THAT SEVEN DAY FORECAST IS NEXT. SOUNDS GREAT. JAY. ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU. ACCORDING TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS, A SINGLE BLOOD DONATION CAN SAVE AS MANY AS THREE LIVES IN MARCH IS AMERICAN RED CROSS MONTH. AND NOW THOSE WHO DONATE BLOOD CAN GET INFORMATION THAT COULD SAVE THEIR OWN LIFE. OUR SAM CARTER SHOWS US HOW. IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT AN A-1C LEVEL IS, IT’S NOT A NEW BRAND OF STEAK SAUCE. SO AS LONG AS WE’RE ON THE SUBJECT OF BLOOD DONATIONS, WLKY IS PARTNERING WITH THE RED CROSS FOR A DAY LONG BLOOD DRIVE ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18TH, WHICH, ACCORDING TO MILLER, IS JUST IN TIME BECAUSE THE RED CROSS NEEDS YOUR BLOOD ON THE SHELVES THAT WE REACH FOR FIRST. DURING TIMES WHEN PEOPLE COME INTO THE HOSPITAL OR DURING DELIVERIES, DURING ACCIDENTS. SO REALLY, IT’S A CONSTANT NEED ONGOING, AND WE ALWAYS ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO COME OUT AND ROLL UP SLEEVES JUST TO SWEETEN THE DEAL. IF YOU GIVE BLOOD DURING MARCH, YOU WILL NOT ONLY HAVE A BETTER OVERALL PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH, YOU’LL ALSO G
