Norton Commons Arts Festival returns this weekend
SOCIETY IS WORKING WITH OUTSIDE PARTIES TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WELL, THE NORTON COMMONS ARTS FESTIVAL RETURNS THIS WEEKEND, BRINGING TOGETHER MORE THAN 100 EXHIBITORS FROM ACROSS THE REGION. OUR SAM CARTER EXPLAINS WHY THE ANNUAL EVENT CONTINUES TO DRAW THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE YEAR AFTER YEAR. THE EVENT IS FREE TO ATTEND, AND FOR VENDORS LIKE PAULA, WHO SELLS HER ARTISANAL HONEY OUT OF HER JEFFERSONVILLE SHOP THE REST OF THE YEAR. THIS EVENT IS THE BEST KIND OF BUSINESS CARD. YOU GO OVER HERE TO THE DIFFERENT AREAS OF TOWN. I MEAN, THIS IS A 30 MINUTE DRIVE. THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN KNOW WE EXIST AT ALL. SO WITH THE FLAVOR, HONEY, IT’S A UNIVERSAL THING THAT EVERYBODY LOVES. SO IT’S REALLY GREAT TO BRING IT AROUND DIFFERENT AREAS OF LOUISVILLE. WHILE THE ART IS WHAT BRINGS PEOPLE IN, THERE’S A TON MORE TO DO HERE. THEY’VE GOT FOOD TRUCKS, LIVE MUSIC, AND IT’S OUTDOORS. THEY LET YOU BRI
