Norton Commons Arts Festival returns this weekend
This Saturday and Sunday, the Norton Commons Arts Festival returns for its 11th year.
This year, the festival will host more than 100 vendors, artists, and crafters.
Among those returning this year is the owner of Above the Dirt Plant and Honey Shop, Paula Henson, who explained why she keeps coming back to the festival.
"It's just a really great crowd," Henson said, "Really great vendors, and those vendors are bringing a good crowd."
The Norton Commons Art Festival runs from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday and will also feature food trucks and live music.
According to Henson, being able to show her wares to the more than 5,000 people who attended is better than any business card.
"You go to the different areas, town, I mean, this is a 30-minute drive, they might not even know we exist," Henson said. "So, with the flavored honey, it's a great thing to bring around different areas of Louisville."
The festival will take place in the North Village traffic is likely to be restricted in that area.
