A potential Thanksgiving matchup with former UofL head coach Rick Pitino highlights the Cards schedule in the Players Era 16 tournament in Las Vegas in November. UofL will open with Texas Tech on Tuesday, November 24, in Michelob Ultra Arena. The winner of that one gets the winner of St. John's and Oregon in a semifinal on Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26. The other half of the bracket includes Tennessee, Maryland, San Diego State and Iowa State. The Championship game for that bracket will be played on Friday, November 27. The other bracket in the tournament includes Gonzaga, Kansas State, Baylor, Alabama, Michigan, Creighton, TCU and Miami (FL). All 37 games of the tournament will be broadcast on ESPN networks, with ticket information, game times, and television assignments to be announced at a later date.
