Phoebe Bridgers causes frenzy at small Kentucky venue with surprise show
Popular indie singer Phoebe Bridgers has been off the grid for years. Three years to be exact.
But she's rolling her way back into the limelight with small, surprise pop-up shows, including one in Kentucky.
Early Friday morning, fans started seeing fliers and catching wind of her coming to the Burl in Lexington...the same night.
Fans showed up in droves outside the venue. They gave out bracelets to cap the line and somewhere between 250 and 300 fans made the cut.
The box office opened at noon and the show starts at 6 p.m.
If you miss that show, who knows where the four-time Grammy winner will pop up next? Fans are following fan accounts, Reddit threats, etc. looking for clues.
She's already played in various other cities like Chattanooga, Tennessee; Greenville, South Carolina; Macon, Georgia and more.
At those shows, fans had to lock up their phones to keep things secret.
