Woman dead, 4 injured in crash near Shively bus stop; driver charged
A driver has been charged with murder and DUI after a Shively crash left a woman dead and four others injured on Monday.
Police said the crash happened around 8 p.m. in the area of Rockford Lane and Dixie Highway.
When officers arrived, they found a woman believed to be in her mid-30s dead at the scene. Another woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police said the woman who was killed was sitting at a bus stop when the crash happened.
In an update Tuesday, Shively Police said a third women was also transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two other people also suffered minor injuries during the incident.
A driver, Kevin Moore, 36, has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, murder, assault, wanton endangerment, reckless driving, disregarding a traffic light and criminal mischief.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
