Update: LMPD canceled the Golden Alert for Donald Blanton, saying he was located and is safe.Louisville Metro Police is asking for the public's help in locating an 85-year-old man who was last seen in Fern Creek.Donald Blanton left his home in the 8700 block of Michael Edward Drive early Tuesday morning and has not been heard from since, police said.Officials said Blanton may be lost and confused.He's described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 185 lbs.Police said he may possibly be wearing a white shirt, khaki pants, and beige tennis shoes.Anyone with information about Blanton's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or LMPD at 502-574-LMPD (5673).
