Stepping into the starting role after goalkeeper Katie Lund went on season-ending injury list, Bloomer made 20 appearances, all starts, during the regular season. She made 83 saves, including three penalty kick stops. Bloomer became the first goalkeeper to save multiple penalty kicks in a game on August 9, when she made two saves against the Orlando Pride. With five clean sheets on the year, Bloomer was named to the NWSL Best XI of the Month for August.  In July, Bloomer made two penalty kick shootout saves in Brazil to help Racing lift the Women\u2019s Cup Trophy. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bloomer spent the offseason on loan with A-League Women club Western Sydney Wanderers, where she made 14 appearances and registered a 77.3% save percentage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloomer made one matchday roster for Racing in 2023 before missing the remainder of the season with a back injury. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The second player at her position selected in December\u2019s draft, Bloomer was a two-time Big Ten Conference Goalkeeper of the Year at the University of Wisconsin. There, she registered a 0.65 goals-against average 0.823 save percentage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Hartland, Wis., native, Bloomer emerged as a serious pro prospect during her breakout 2019 season. As a junior, she received her first Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year nod in addition to First Team All-American honors, posting a 0.53 goals-against average and 0.850 save percentage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, as a fifth-year senior, she posted nine shutouts while helping the Badgers to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament, again earning the title of Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
