AND THIS WEEK, CHRISTINA MOORE INTRODUCES US TO 12 YEAR OLD LIFE. AFTER SPENDING MOST OF HIS CHILDHOOD IN FOSTER CARE, HE’S HOPING TO FIND A CARING FAMILY IN THE NEW YEAR. 12 YEAR OLD LIFE IS AS SPECIAL AND UNIQUE AS HIS NAME. DO YOU LIKE HAVING A UNIQUE NAME? YEAH, SOMETIMES. LIFE HAS BEEN IN KENTUCKY’S FOSTER CARE SYSTEM FOR THE PAST NINE YEARS, SINCE 2014. HAS IT BEEN HARD SOMETIMES? YEAH, I MADE THE LEADERBOARD, THOUGH, DESPITE HIS LESS THAN IDEAL SITUATION, LIFE IS EASYGOING. HE ENJOYS BEING OUTSIDE, PLAYING SPORTS OR STAYING INSIDE AND READING A GOOD BOOK. HE SAYS HE’S FUNNY, ENERGETIC AND HELPFUL, AND HIS REQUIREMENTS FOR A FOREVER FAMILY ARE SIMPLE. A FOREVER FAMILY. YEAH, SOMEONE THAT LOVES AND CARES ABOUT ME. Life, 12, is as unique and special as his name. The seventh grader hopes to find a caring forever family in the coming new year. Life has been in Kentucky’s foster care system since 2014, nearly 10 years. He said moving in and out of different homes can be difficult. Despite his less-than-ideal situation, Life is easy going. He enjoys being outside playing sports, or staying inside and reading a good book. He said he’s funny, energetic and helpful.And his requirements for a forever family are simple.“Someone that loves and cares about me,” he said.
