LONGER. YEAH. ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU MO. YOU’RE WELCOME. FOR DECADES, WLKY HAS HELPED LOCAL CHILDREN FIND FOREVER HOMES THROUGH THE WEDNESDAY’S CHILD PROGRAM. AND THIS WEEK, CHRISTINA MOORE INTRODUCED US TO 14 YEAR OLD CAMERON, WHO HOPES TO FIND A FAMILY WHO WILL RESPECT WHAT HE HAS TO SAY. 14 YEAR OLD CAMERON HOPES TO BE IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT WHEN IT COMES TO FINDING A FOREVER FAMILY. HE WANTS TO BE RESPECTED AND APPRECIATE FOR WHO HE IS. WE LIKE TO DO FOR FUN BASKETBALL. DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE BASKETBALL TEAM? NO, NO, I’M MOSTLY DO FOOTBALL TEAMS. I DON’T DO BASKETBALL TEAMS. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM? UM, LAMAR JACKSON, BALTIMORE RAVENS CAMERON IS IN THE EIGHTH GRADE. ADDIE READY? READY. HE SAYS HE LIKES SCHOOL AND HIS FAVORITE SUBJECT IS MATH. HE LIKES GOING OUTSIDE AND PLAYING VIDEO GAMES WHEN IT COMES TO A FUTURE FOREVER FAMILY, HIS PREFERENCES ARE SIMPLE. I GUESS FOR THEM TO RESPECT WHAT I SAY. UM, TAKE MY INTERESTS INTO CONSIDERATION. Cameron, 14, enjoys playing basketball, he’s good at math, and he hopes to find a forever family that will respect what he has to say. The eighth grader wants to be appreciated for who he is. “I guess for them to respect what I say,” Cameron said. “Take my answers into consideration.”Cameron is in the eighth grade. He likes going outside and playing video games. He also enjoys following his favorite NFL football player, Lamar Jackson, of the Baltimore Ravens.
