Strong storms on Saturday evening caused damage to some booths and artists' work at the Norton Commons Arts Festival.
Twenty tents were damaged and seven artists had to drop out. Photos from Sunday morning show some knocked-down tents.
The event still went on Sunday.
Organizers say the community quickly came together to keep the festival going.
"We had, different people coming in from their homes and apartments right around the area. They were picking up tents, making sure that we were keeping products secure and safe," said Sarah Pritts, marketing director at Norton Commons.
Despite the damage, many vendors and artists stayed for the final day of the festival.
"I've done this show for about seven years now, and we made it work and bought a new tent this morning and kept on trucking. We had a great day today and it's been very well attended and the bands are fabulous. The food is great and I love the show. It's a really nice event for Louisville," Julie Day, owner of Jewels By Jules.

About 100 artists and vendors participated this year. There were food trucks and live music during the day.
A spokesperson said they appreciate the artists, volunteers, guests and businesses for their support.
